Blue Sky Think Tank (BSTT)

Overview: Blue Sky Think Tank (BSTT) is a global executive event hosted in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, bringing together C-suite leaders, global directors, and key stakeholders across the healthcare sector.

 

The event’s objective was to showcase operational scalability across the Nearshore region while fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among international decision-makers.

Challenge: Design a distinct and engaging identity system for BSTT while operating within strict enterprise constraints:

 

  • No standalone logo creation (limited wordmark flexibility)

  • Mandatory use of existing Teleperformance brand colors and typography

  • Tight timeline (two style directions developed in under one week)

  • Audience composed of senior global executives


The identity needed to feel elevated and innovative, while remaining aligned with a global corporate brand and scalable across multiple touchpoints.

 

Role: Led visual direction and system design, from concept development through final execution across digital and physical formats.

Strategic Approach: Without the ability to rely on a traditional logo, the solution focused on building a flexible visual system that could carry the identity across formats and environments.

The system was designed to balance three key dimensions:
 

  • Enterprise credibility: maintaining alignment with Teleperformance’s established brand.

  • Innovation and forward-thinking: reflecting the “Think Tank” concept.

  • Regional context: subtly incorporating the vibrancy and atmosphere of the Caribbean setting.

 

This led to the development of a modular identity built on:

  • Geometric motifs derived from simplified symbolic forms, representing collaboration and idea exchange

  • Gradient-based color system extending the existing palette to introduce depth, energy,   and flexibility

  • Consistent typographic hierarchy adapted for clarity across both print and digital applications

Identity System: Rather than a logo-led identity, BSTT was built as a component-based system:
 

  • A pattern used across backgrounds, overlays, and environmental graphics

  • A vibrant gradient that provides variation while maintaining cohesion

  • Visual rules for photography treatment to unify imagery across channels
     

This approach ensured the identity could scale seamlessly across formats without losing consistency.


Applications: The identity system was deployed across a wide range of mediums, including:
 

  • Event collateral (badges, stationery, postcards)

  • Environmental and experiential elements (welcome kits, corporate gifts, spatial branding)

  • Digital assets (landing page, motion design support, photography treatment)
     

Each application reinforced the system while adapting to its specific context.

Impact:
 

  • The identity system was adopted as the global standard for future BSTT events

  • Received positive feedback from executive leadership, including the COO and Country Director

  • Established a repeatable framework for event branding within the organization
