Healthy Monday

Healthy Monday was an initiative created at Teleperformance Dominican Republic in 2016 that lasted all through 2021. Initially, it sought to share information through infographics and designs about occupational health, ergonomics and healthy habits. Later on, it expanded to include physical well-being, mental health, and nutrition. The name comes from the fact that it was a weekly publication, every Monday, through intranet, company email, and social media.

Audience: all TP Dominican Republic employees (about 1.2K at the time). Starting 2017, we were requested to also publish in the Nearshore Region (6 countries total) due to the initiative’s success.

Challenge: I was in charge of making the content calendar, choosing the topics, doing the research, writing the content for all formats (in English and Spanish), and then designing all the pieces and sharing them with the regional team so they could publish in their countries. Having to do all the related tasks myself, it made this initiative very time consuming, but we never skipped a Monday!

 

Result: after a while of taking over the initiative, I encouraged the expansion of topics to other realms of well-being. This also came with a varied style of design, departing from the often corporate look, in order to stay interesting and engaging through the years. The content and communications were well received, from frontline employees to C-levels, across our cluster and even caught the attention of the global Marketing and Engagement teams; HM contributed to the environment of employer culture because it was different from everything else and provided quality content to its audience.

Scope of work: content planning, topic research, writing, graphic design.
